JP2 Love - album edition

The album consists of selected fragments of Karol Wojtyla's poetry, photos from movie sets about St. John Paul II taken by Judyta Papp, and personal reflections on the Polish Pope by international authorites of various faiths. Reproductions of the blessed Pope's personal belongings and manuscripts complement the intimate character of the publication.
Karol Wojtyla's works have been specially prepared by Prelate Pawel Ptasznik, Head of the Polish section of the Vatican's Secretariat of State.
The album's aim is to, on the one hand, bring attention to how John Paul II’s movie image is shaped in the context of poetry, which was His most personal form of spiritual communication with the people; and on the other hand – show the topicality of the Bl. John Paul II’s idea of bringing people closer through love and mutual understanding.
This will perhaps be the first attempt of its kind at preserving St. John Paul II’s teachings in individual and collective memory: a reflection on the influence of His message of love and dialog on our lives.
