Karol Wojtyla's Poetry
Logos, X

We begin the drama of the Word.
We begin preaching the myth.
There is a parable in the holy book,
carved in iron by a woodcarver:
That he, Himself as if a different person
an inspired sculptor, in bright dawn aglow
forged: his Word and Thought –
cursed with his chisel, indomitable toil.
Logos, X
