Karol Wojtyla's Poetry
Logos VIII

Sacrificial words need a priest. –
- Someone walks a road against the winds
- Who are you, old man, that in an eve sultry
of human grievance you enter the theatron?
to sacrificial you proceed tiers –
who are you, old man? - I am a man-actor.
His hair spread over his old shoulders
he ruled the word and did not squander.
