Letter from the Chancellery of the Polish President, Bronislaw Komorowski
Dear Ms Judyta Papp, on behalf of the Polish President, Bronisław Komorowski, I kindly thank you for presenting to the Chancellery the project of 'JP2 Love' publication dedicated to the memory of the Holy Father, John Paul II.
The Testimony of life and message of John Paul II, who remained closely bonded with Poland also as St. Peter's successor, is our remarkable gift and obligation. More than anyone else we ought to take care of this heritage - cherish and discover it anew. The planned publication, including photographs from film sets dedicated to John Paul II, presents pieces of his poetry, as well as thoughts of world authorities about the role that the Holy Father played over the last decades,. It is an attempt to bring closer the figure of the great Pope, as well as to remind everybody about his appeal for a peaceful dialogue of people, cultures and religions.
Please accept wishes of good luck in developing this enterprise, as well as a success in your further artistic work.
Sincerely,
Jacek Michałowski
Head of the Chancellery of the President of the Republic of Poland
